We are beautifully situated between Marble Falls and Lago Vista, Texas. Our resort is perched in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, offering stunning elevated views just a short drive from Lake Travis and the vibrant city of Austin.

Glamping is competitively priced with luxury boutique hotels. While it is not intended to be a budget accommodation, it offers significantly more value by providing a unique, experiential getaway. You are paying for ultimate privacy, direct access to nature, exclusive amenities, and a memorable experience that standard hotels simply cannot replicate.
Tents and Amenities
What are the tents like, what do they come with, and what general amenities are provided?
Our luxurious safari-style canvas tents are built on elevated wooden decks. They come fully furnished with plush king size beds, premium linens, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and dedicated climate control (AC and heating). General amenities include high-speed WiFi, coffee makers, mini-fridges, outdoor bed and private outdoor fire pits.
How many guests can stay in each tent?
Our luxury tents are designed as intimate retreats for 2 guests.
Are the tents open year-round, and do they stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer?
Yes, we are open year-round! Each tent is fully equipped with robust air conditioning to keep you comfortably cool during the Texas summer, as well as efficient heating systems to keep you cozy during the winter months.
Which safari tents include a private soaking tub or hot tub?
Select premium-tier safari tents feature private outdoor soaking tubs or hot tubs situated directly on your private deck. Please filter your search by "Hot Tub" or "Soaking Tub" on our booking page to secure one of these highly sought-after units. While each tent has a private hot tub or soaking tub, there is also a hot tub in the community area.
Where can I go glamping with a private toilet?
Right here at On The Rocks Glamping Resort. Unlike traditional camping or standard glamping sites that rely on shared bathhouses, 100% of our tents feature private, en-suite bathrooms complete with flushing toilets, hot showers, and bath products.
Are there TVs in the tent?
Yes, there are TVs in each tent. We do, however, encourage our guests to unplug, unwind, and fully immerse themselves in the surrounding nature. We also have a 75”TV in the community area. We also provide high-speed WiFi if you wish to stream content on your personal devices.
Is there WiFi?
Yes, complimentary high-speed WiFi is provided in every tent and across the resort grounds so you can stay connected, share your experience, or work remotely if needed.
Is there a microwave?
Yes, each tent is equipped with a microwave for your convenience—perfect for warming up leftovers from local Marble Falls restaurants. We also provide a plate and a toaster for preparing your meals
Is there a refrigerator?
Yes, every tent features a mini-fridge to keep your beverages cold and to store any perishables or snacks.
What cooking equipment and supplies are there?
Tents come with a coffee maker, mugs, basic glassware, dishes, pots cooking utensils, toaster, hot plate and a microwave. We also provide a gas grill and a flat-top grill for your use.
Booking, Policies and Logistics
How do I reserve a tent and book directly with the resort?
The easiest and most secure way to reserve your stay is by booking directly through our official website. Booking direct guarantees the lowest rates and gives you immediate access to our customer service team.
What are the check-in, check-out, and cancellation policies?
Standard check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We offer a flexible cancellation policy; full 100% payment is refunded if canceled 30 prior to arrival. 50% payment is refunded if made if canceled between days 7-14 prior to arrival. No payment is refunded if canceled less than 7 days prior to arrival. If possible, we do attempt to work with our guests if an unforeseen problem arises and reschedule an alternative date. Our goal is for every guest to experience a wonderful glamping experience at On the Rocks Glamping.
What happens if I arrive before the 3:00 pm check-in time?
If you arrive before 3:00 PM without pre-arranging an Early Check-in, your tent may not be ready. You are welcome to explore Lake Travis nearby or grab a bite in Marble Falls while our housekeeping team prepares your luxury accommodation. But definitely check with management to see if it is ready.
What happens if I check-out later than 11:00?
Check-outs past 11:00 AM will need prior authorization. This policy ensures our dedicated staff has ample time to maintain our high standards of cleanliness for incoming guests.
How much does it cost per night?
Nightly rates vary based on the season, day of the week, and tent type. Our rates are lower than other glamping resorts in the area. For the most accurate and up-to-date pricing, please enter your desired dates into the booking calendar on our website. Each guest’s tent and courtyard is totally private.
Which is our best deal?
Our best deals are found by booking directly on our website, taking advantage of mid-week stays (Sunday-Thursday), or visiting during our off-peak seasons. Keep an eye on our website and social media for exclusive seasonal promotions!
Is there a minimum night stay, and are one-night stays available?
We generally require a 2-night minimum stay over weekends to ensure you have enough time to truly unwind but sometimes make exceptions for one night. However, 1-night stays are often available mid-week (Sunday through Thursday) depending on occupancy.
About Damage Waiver?
A small, refundable damage waiver is included in your booking (or a security deposit hold will be placed on your card prior to arrival). This covers minor accidental damages to the tent or amenities, giving you peace of mind during your stay.
Resort Policies at a Glance:
For the comfort of all, we enforce quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure guests can enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside tents and on wooden decks. Smoking is allowed in the community area only.

Are children allowed at On The Rocks Glamping Resort, and are there age restrictions?
On The Rocks Glamping Resort is curated as a tranquil, romantic escape for adults. The primary booking guest must be at least 21 years old.
Are pets allowed at On The Rocks Glamping Resort?
We love dogs! We offer specific pet-friendly tents. A standard pet fee applies, and pets must be kept on a leash while on the resort grounds and never left unattended in the tents. We ask that you please clean up after Please ensure you select a pet-friendly accommodation when booking. We have a two-dog limit per tent and a 35lb or less weight limit. No cats are allowed.
Can I drive my car to your tent?
To preserve the serene, natural environment and reduce noise and dust, cars are kept in our central parking area.
Can I bring my boat for the river?
Yes! While you cannot park a boat trailer directly at your tent, our prime location means you are just minutes away from public Lake Travis boat ramps and local marinas. Please contact us in advance for recommendations on trailer parking.
Packing and Preparation
What should I pack/bring, and what does the resort provide?
Pack weather-appropriate clothing, a swimsuit, sunscreen, and any food, ice or drinks you'd like. We provide everything else: luxury linens, bath towels, toiletries, coffee, and firewood.
What to expect?
Expect a seamless blend of natural beauty and modern luxury. You will wake up to bird songs, enjoy your coffee with a panoramic Hill Country view, and end the evening stargazing by a crackling fire—all while sleeping in a climate-controlled, resort-quality bed.
What shoes do you recommend?
We recommend comfortable slip-on shoes or sandals for lounging on your private deck and inside the tent.
What should I leave at home?
Leave your sleeping bags, heavy camping gear, standard tents, and everyday stress behind! We have all the comforts of home already set up for you.
Do I need to bring toiletries and cleaning supplies?
No. Your en-suite bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, bodywash, and fresh towels. There is also a hair dryer and a first aid kit. Upon request, we can provide some personal items that you may have forgotten.
Activities, Food and On-Site Features
What activities are available near Lake Travis?
Lake Travis and Marble Falls offer endless activities including boating, paddleboarding, swimming, hiking at nearby state parks, off-roading, and exploring the renowned Texas Hill Country wineries and breweries.
What is there to do on the property?
On-site, you can unwind in your private hot tub or soaking tub, play outdoor yard games, roast marshmallows around your private fire pit, barbecue your own delicious meal and experience world-class stargazing away from city lights. We also have a pool table and darts.
There is also a swim pond on sight to cool off in the summertime.
Do you provide food services?
While we do not have an on-site restaurant, we offer customizable welcome baskets, charcuterie boards, and S'mores kits that can be pre-ordered. Additionally, excellent dining options are just a short drive away in Marble Falls or Lago Vista
Do you provide firewood, or do I need to bring charcoal and firewood?
We offer complimentary firewood for the outdoor fire pit in the community area. Your private courtyard is supplied with a propane fire pit.
Can I use the outdoor fire pit year-round?
Fire pits can be enjoyed year-round, except during official Burn Bans issued by Travis County. During a burn ban, open flames are strictly prohibited by law to prevent wildfires, though propane fire pits may still be used in your private courtyard
What happens if it rains?
Glamping in the rain is magical! Our heavy-duty safari tents are 100% waterproof. You can stay dry, cozy up in your plush bed, and listen to the soothing sound of the rain hitting the canvas roof.
Parking at the Resort
We offer complimentary self-parking in our designated guest lot. From there, it is just a short walk to your private tent.
